Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care
A 200-bed long term care facility providing culturally appropriate services to Chinese, South Asian and other Canadian seniors and families. Yee Hong - Markham also offers a senior day program to Chinese speaking post-stroke seniors and seniors with Alzheimer's. It also houses Dr. Mark Guttman's Centre for movement disorders. YMCA Business Centre
Offers individuals who are unemployed the opportunity to start their own business with government funding as an alternative to full-time employment. The centre offers free business workshops and resources. The self-employment programs include the SEB-Self Employment Benefit Program for individuals (15 years+) on EI or reachback and the YEP-Youth Entrepreneurship Program for youth between the ages of 15 and 30.
